Rebecca Ferguson is quietly proving herself the queen of sci-fi with her roles in several hit films and TV shows in the past five years. From Doctor Sleep to Dune and, more recently, Mercy, Ferguson’s acting prowess has earned her acclaim, making the actress one of the most in-demand performers. It’s no surprise that Apple TV enlisted her talents as the streaming service continues to build its sci-fi library. Ferguson stars in the highly-regarded post-apocalypse sci-fi drama Silo. She plays the lead character, Juliette Nichols, who turns her world upside down after making some discoveries.
Silo is seeing renewed interest this week, according to streaming data from FlixPatrol. The series has re-entered Apple TV’s top 10 most-watched shows globally after a weeks-long absence. It is ranked tenth at the time of writing. This surge coincides with the growing buzz surrounding Ferguson’s next project, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man. The feature-length follow-up to the 2013 series Peaky Blinders is already in theaters, but will debut globally on Netflix on March 20. Ferguson has a central role in the film as the main antagonist, Kaulo. Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man has received generally positive reviews, with a 93% on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. Collider’s Greer Riddell praised the film for carrying the same feeling as its predecessor. She also lauded Ferguson’s performance, calling it “enigmatic.” An excerpt from Riddell’s review of Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man reads:
The Immortal Man, while obvious at times, also gives you everything you could want in a Peaky Blinders movie. There’s angst, there’s violence, there’s sex, explosions, and swagger. If this truly is the end of the Peaky Blinders as we know them, it’s a devastating one, and it’s hard to imagine anyone taking up the mantle as effectively as the original cast.

When Does ‘Silo’ Return for Season 3?
There is no concrete date for Silo‘s return, but Ferguson hinted at a Summer 2026 date in a conversation with Collider’s Steven Weintraub. The show was renewed through Season 4, which will be its final season. Ferguson revealed that filming for the fourth season is nearly completed, meaning fans won’t have to wait for long between Season 3 and 4. “Friday [March 13] is my last day. I’m emotionally grieving, and I don’t talk about it because I’ll probably break down crying. I’m pushing it down,” the actress shared.
Silo is available to stream on Apple TV. Watch Ferguson on Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man in theaters or on Netflix on March 20. Stay with us for more updates.
