So far, Porsha Williams‘ return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta hasn’t been what fans had expected. Sadly, this includes a much-talked-about fallout with her former bestie and RHOA newbie Shamea Morton. Now, Porsha is calling out her estranged friend in a social media post. Plus, there’s a new update on Simon Guobadia and how their divorce proceedings will be handled amid his ICE detainment.
When Porsha, 43, was cast for season 16, she was still seemingly happily married to Simon, 60. They’ve had a ton of public drama since, including Simon being arrested and detained by ICE in February of this year.
Porsha recently took to her Instagram Stories to air out some grievances about Shamea, 43, after watching a screener for the most recent episode of RHOA. Notably, she accused the newbie of speaking ill of her mother, Diane Williams, 67. She said in the soon-deleted post, “Ima just say this. I’m watching new episode @Shamea Morton.”
She continued, “Now don’t take it there don’t imply SH** about Diane Williams. I’ve been keeping it cute/quiet and you can do and say what you want in me, but hear me when I say WRONG ROAD!”
The typo-laced social media rant continued, “Talking about well your mom thought my mom was a friend. Knowing Gotdamn well what she did to my mom was highly egregious! Don’t do it keep playing victim, and that BS. Don’t f with my MOM!”
Porsha made her post over the weekend before the new RHOA episode aired on Sunday night. During the episode, Shamea revealed that her mom and Diane used to be good friends until they had a falling out. However, Shamea would not expand on what led to the feud when asked by producers during her talking head. So it’s unclear what made Porsha so upset.
This post comes after years of people telling Shamea that she and Porsha had a lopsided friendship. Porsha even skipped Shamea’s wedding, claiming it was because she was sick and had blood clots in her legs that rendered her unable to fly.
That’s not all when it comes to recent Porsha news. According to InTouch Weekly, the judge overseeing her divorce from Simon has set a new hearing date to determine the enforceability of their prenuptial agreement. Initially, this was supposed to take place on April 30, but Simon was “unable to appear due to his current detention by the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.” His lawyers requested the extension just days before the hearing was supposed to take place.
As he’s still detained, Simon will be escorted to divorce court by ICE agents. According to the judge, “Counsels for [Simon] indicate that the ICE agency has advised that upon receiving a production order, arrangements will be made to transport [Simon] to physically appear in Court at the Fulton County courthouse.”
The new date for the hearing has been scheduled for June 11, and his legal counsel will draft the production order mentioned by the judge. They also provided instructions on what to do if Simon gets released from custody before the hearing date. The court stated, “[Simon] should provide this court with as much advance notice as possible to allow this court to make arrangements for the hearing to occur via remote proceedings, and the parties and counsel may attend the hearing remotely.”
Sources say that Simon was supposed to have been released from custody already. It’s unclear why he hasn’t been.
His lawyer said about the agreement, “The motion to enforce the Prenuptial Agreement is a substantive motion that requires findings of fact by this Court. The outcome of the motion will also have a substantial effect on how the remainder of the divorce case proceeds, as it may be dispositive of some of the issues and result in litigation on others.”
