Meghan King returned to Instagram after losing custody of her three kids to her ex-husband, Jim Edmonds, and shared a message with her fans and followers.
As her former Real Housewives of Orange County co-star, Kelly Dodd, 50, reacted to the news, slamming Jim, 55, as a “dick” in a social media comment, Meghan, 41, posted a telling message, seemingly in response to the upsetting news about her time with her children, who include eight-year-old daughter Aspen and seven-year-old twins Hart and Hayes.
“This morning the universe reminded me that maybe I don’t need to disguise the cracks, maybe instead I can fill them with color and purpose,” Meghan wrote in the caption of her December 12 post on Instagram, which featured an overhead view of cracked concrete that had been filled with colorful pieces of stone or glass.
One day prior, Us Weekly confirmed that Meghan and Jim reached a custody agreement that would allow Meghan to see their kids for a “few weeks” each summer as they went to live full-time with Jim and his wife, Kortnie O’Connor, in Tennessee, where the couple recently purchased a $4 million home.
Also on Instagram, in the comments section of a post shared by Page Six in regard to the custody news, Kelly shared her thoughts, writing, “He’s a d*ck.”
As RHOC fans will recall, Kelly previously defended Meghan on TikTok.
“I can tell you, she loves those babies. She loves those kids, and I know for a fact she is a good mother. She is an excellent mother, and I just pray that she gets her babies back,” Kelly told her fans and followers. “Everyone just pray for Meghan and her family. Those boys and that daughter need their mom. They need their mother, and it’s terrible.”
“It’s terrible what is going on right now. All we can do is just pray for Meghan,” she added.
Meghan’s custody loss came after the former reality star was targeted with a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigation after she reportedly gave her son Hayes unprescribed Ritalin and asked his school to do the same.
