Galitzine has spoken about undergoing intense physical training for the role, calling the transformation one of the most demanding experiences of his career.
“Truthfully, I feel like I learned a lot about myself and how far I was willing to push myself and really suffering for it,” the Idea of You star told Entertainment Weekly in April 2026. “And it took a really, really long time. It’s really not for the faint of heart. This is something that you need to do full-time for six months minimum, but I’m really happy.”
