Aussie actor Chris Hemsworth received the fright of his life this week, when he stumbled across a shocking discovery on the kitchen floor.
The Thor star, 41, walked into a kitchen blissfully unaware, when a small snake appeared to pounce at him.
Hemsworth appeared to swear in fright before the truth of the situation was revealed.

It was all part of a cheeky prank set up by his friends and personal trainer, Luke Zocchi, who planted a fake rubber snake on the floor.
“Have you seen the other one yet?” Hemsworth says as he walks into the kitchen before stumbling across the snake.
He appeared to swear in fright before telling his mates, “you w–ker, oh wow.”

The hilarious video was shared on Zocchi’s Instagram account to the delight of Hemsworth’s fans.
“Thor is scared of the snake [crying with laughter emojis],” one fan wrote.
“I would react the same way,” another commenter wrote.
In the video, you can hear his mates laugh as Hemsworth laughs from shock.
The actor should be used to the reptiles, hailing from Australia and living in Byron Bay with his family.
It comes after the Aussie star revealed he regrets asking Billie Eilish for a selfie while at the Oscars, but said he did it for his kids.

Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, he said: “And then the moment I took it, I was like ‘I went from work colleague to now like a fan.”
He added: “We will never be friends, never be best friends.”
