SLOMW’s Jessi Ngatikaura Reacts to Taylor Frankie Paul Arrest Speculation, Shuts Down “Jealousy” Claims

Jessi Ngatikaura reacted to a podcaster questioning if Taylor Frankie Paul was arrested – and if castmates were “jealous” of her. Jessi also shared that the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives cast viewed Taylor’s casting on The Bachelorette as “Dakota rehab.”

On the new season of SLOMW, Taylor shared that she hooked up with her ex Dakota, the father of her youngest child. Many costars have described their relationship as “toxic,” and feared that her closeness with him would affect Taylor’s position as lead on The Bachelorette.

Recently, reports surfaced that castmates are refusing to film with Taylor amid an investigation into domestic assault involving Taylor and Dakota. Harry Jowsey, who’s friends with many of the castmates, confirmed that production was halted. Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the Draper City Police Department confirmed that a domestic assault investigation is ongoing.

Jessi recently reacted to a post from Zack Peter, host of the No Filter with Zack podcast, questioning if Taylor was “ARRESTED” – and if castmates were “jealous” of her.

“It was never a jealousy thing lol,” wrote Jessi in a comment, via @stephwithdadeets on Instagram. She also ‘liked’ the post.

Around the same time, Jessi recalled her costars’ reactions to Taylor’s casting on The Bachelorette.

“Before she left [to film], we all kept joking that The Bachelorette was going to be like Dakota rehab, you know, like, let’s get her away, get her in a good mindset,” said Jessi on Off the Vine.

But when asked if Taylor was able to “forget about” Dakota on The Bachelorette, Jessi didn’t say yes.

“You’ll definitely see it play out,” Jessi answered. “But I think it was the best opportunity she could have gotten for herself at that time because she did need to be pulled out of the environment she was in. And I will say, I think it woke her up a little bit.”

“If we were jealous of Taylor being The Bachelorette, we would have tried to sabotage it,” Jessi continued. “The whole season [of SLOMW], we were like, ‘Taylor, do not ruin this opportunity.’”
