On the heels of the first trailer drop for the hotly anticipated fifth and final season of The Boys at CCXP over the weekend, Sony Pictures Virtual Reality and Brazilian game studio Arvore have announced the first official The Boys VR game experience, developed with the series’ creators, to launch in 2026.
Fans of the diabolical franchise can step inside the debauchery-filled universe through The Boys: Trigger Warning, which will feature original cast members — Laz Alonso (Mother’s Milk), Colby Minifie (Ashley Barrett) and P.J. Byrne (Adam Bourke) — reprising their roles. Last season’s newcomer, Jensen Ackles, will also appear as a “twisted interpretation” of his character Soldier Boy (Jeez, how much more twisted can the guy get?), exclusively for the game.
The stealth-action VR game aims to put players “on the front lines of the war against Supes,” akin to the vigilante namesake group in the series, led by Karl Urban’s Billy Butcher. The Boys: Trigger Warning introduces an original character who accidentally uncovers a grotesque Vought secret that turns a family outing into carnage. Forced to become a Supe, the player joins The Boys to infiltrate Vought and take revenge in the most chaotic way possible. The game will blend stealth and combat with the series’ irreverent dark humor.
“From day one, we wanted to build an adaptation hand-in-hand with the people who defined this universe,” Ricardo Justus, founder and head of studio at Arvore, said in a statement. “Working with the show’s writers and cast allowed us to bring the edge, humor, and brutality that made the series iconic, delivered with the spark of magic only Arvore can create.”

The game is available to pre-order at a limited promotional price of $23.99 USD on the Meta Quest storefront and to wishlist on the PlayStation Store.
Season 5 of The Boys is slated for release on Prime Video on April 8, 2026 with a two-episode premiere, culminating in a May 20 series finale.
