SOUL RESONANCE mobile game to launch worldwide

Crunchyroll, a subscription service that specializes in anime and manga, has teamed up with A PLUS JAPAN, a mobile game development company that focuses on Japanese entertainment and anime IP, for the English-language release of Bleach: Soul Resonance. With its English-language version, the mobile game will be making its global debut to audiences outside of Asia.

Pre-registration is now open on the App Store and Google Play.

Developed by Nuverse (Marvel Snap, One Piece: Blood Resonance), the 3D anime action-RPG is based on the hit Bleach series created by Tite Kubo and incorporates the visual style of the Bleach Thousand-Year Blood War anime, which will debut its fourth and final part, Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity, on TV Tokyo and its affiliates in 2026. It immerses players in the Soul Society world, allowing them to play as Ichigo Kurosaki and use their very own Zanpakutō to fight powerful enemies.

The official Bleach: Soul Resonance website highlights the fact that players will be able to play 17 characters from the anime. The game’s cast consists of Ichigo Kurosaki (Initial, Shikai, and Bankai versions), Uryu Ishida, Orihime Inoue, Kisuke Urahara, Yasutora Sado (Chad), and Ururu Tsumugiya for Karakura Town. Meanwhile, there are 13 Court Guard Squads (Gotei 13) characters that can be played, including Nemu Kurotsuchi, Ikkaku Madarame, Byakuya Kuchiki, Renji Abarai, Yachiru Kusajishi, Kaname Tosen, Sajin Komamura, and Rukia Kuchiki. As for Soul Society characters, the only one available is Yoruichi Shihouin, the “Flash Goddess.”
