A Medical Emergency
Nina and Ava are at a café, discussing Willow. Nina feels bad for Willow that she has to continue to put up with Drew. Moments later, she gets a call from her daughter, saying that something is wrong with Drew.
Meanwhile, Liz and Lucas are discussing Willow, too, unsure if the congressman will allow her to come back to work. Willow comes rushing into the hospital and lies to Liz that Drew collapsed to the ground after what seems like a stroke.
Portia’s Future Is At Risk
Kai and Trina are at the café when Curtis shows up to talk to her. He informs her that the board will decide Portia’s future as a doctor. Tina hopes that Portia retains her license, and Curtis says that he might be able to help his wife.
Portia arrives at the hospital for the meeting, where Stella is waiting for her. Stella vents to her about what her actions are, but Portia defends herself. After Portia leaves, Isaiah approaches Stella to remind her that Portia was the one who helped her when Drew orchestrated the insurance fraud investigation against her.
In the meeting, Laura and Tracy offer Portia the chance to explain herself. She comes clean about her reasoning behind messing with Heather’s reports, and explains that despite the blackmail, she promptly treated Drew to save his life.
Britt Receives Orders
Britt invites Jason to show her new office. She also asks Jason to go on another date with her, to which he agrees. After Jason leaves, WSB Director Cullum shows up with new orders for her. He tells her that she needs to get rid of Jason from her life and move to Wyndemere that very evening.
Lucas Delivers Bad News
Tracy runs into Willow and asks what happened. Soon, Liz and Lucas inform them that Drew might have suffered a devastating stroke, not knowing how long it could last. Lucas also notes that Drew may even develop locked-in syndrome.
Curtis Persuades Laura
Curtis arrives at Laura’s office and attempts to persuade her to allow Portia to retain her medical license. He reminds her that if Portia hadn’t switched Michael’s blood report, he could have lost the custody of his kids.
Punches Are Thrown
Chase and Michael get into a heated argument over Willow. Their conversation spirals out of control when Chase lands a punch on him. Michael retaliates by hitting back. Jason arrives and stops them. After Chase leaves, Michael confides in Jason that he can’t let his kids live with Drew.
Meanwhile, Sonny is at Justine’s office discussing the potential case against Michael. She says that she’ll drop out of the case if new charges are filed against Michael.
