“Are you ready?” Yes I am! Let’s go back for more. Sony Pictures has finally revealed the first official trailer for the highly anticipated follow-up sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, which was shot back-to-back with Alex Garland’s 28 Years Later from earlier this year. This sequel is directed by Nia DaCosta, also from a screenplay written by Alex Garland again, and it lands in theaters in January 2026 in just a few months from now. Awesome. In a continuation of the epic zombie-filled story, Fiennes’ character Dr. Kelson finds himself in a shocking new relationship – with consequences that could change the world as they know it. And Spike’s encounter with Jimmy Crystal (seen at the end of 28YL) becomes a nightmare he now can’t escape. In the world of The Bone Temple, the infected are no longer the greatest threat to survival – the inhumanity of the survivors can be stranger and more terrifying. Indeed it can be – AND IS. This next movie also stars Ralph Fiennes, Alfie Williams, Jack O’Connell, Erin Kellyman, and Chi Lewis-Parry. Another fantastic trailer for this horror sequel with another chilling voiceover! Damn it looks good.
