David Harbour is opening up about his relationship with co-star Millie Bobby Brown after those bombshell accusations!
Last month, a report came out claiming the 21-year-old actress filed a harassment and bullying complaint against the 50-year-old actor before the final season of Stranger Things. There were a lot of details about the claims, except that sources noted it did not involve sexual misconduct. With not much to go on, fans took matters into their own hands and found old interviews to prove there was tension between them at one point.

However, Millie and David tried to shut down the feud rumors. They put on a united front at the Los Angeles premiere of the show. The Enola Holmes alum also insisted she “felt safe” with him on set. As for David? He has not addressed the specific allegations, but he did get real about their relationship during a behind-the-scenes breakdown of the billboard scene from the third episode of the final season. In it, Lily Allen’s estranged hubby acknowledged they have “been through a lot” together.
David started by pointing out that everyone loves their characters “Hopper and Eleven,” adding:
“He’s missing a daughter and she’s missing a father. And I think it’s been a dynamic that in the series has been so important and so vital ever since the first season when Hopper left Eggos in the box for her.”
That father-daughter dynamic bled over into real life. David insisted he and Millie are “very close,” saying:
“We’ve been through a lot together. We’ve been doing this show for ten years. I can’t even parse out what’s me and what’s Hopper’s overprotectiveness around her. They start to blend in and meld together.”
Perhaps they just fought like father and daughter IRL, too. Hmm. Watch the BTS clip (below):
