Stranger Things
star Matthew Modine addresses season 5 and reveals that the Duffer Brothers are looking forward to moving on to new projects.
In a recent interview with ScreenRant to promote his new show, Zero Day, on Netflix, Modine comments on Stranger Things season 5, touching on how the Duffers see the end of the show. Check out his comment below:
Matthew Modine: It’s going to be amazing. It’s going to be… I mean, the Duffer Brothers are filmmakers, so I think that they wanted Season 1 to be one and done, like Zero Day, just a limited series. By, I don’t know, three or four episodes of filming, Netflix saw it as something that was incredible and different than what anybody imagined and expanded into five seasons. But they want to finish big, and then they want to get on with their lives because they have a lot of stories that they want to tell. This has been a gilded cage in a way that it’s a wonderful experience that they’re having, but they want to get on with their lives. They want to graduate, they want to graduate and get on with their lives.
More to come…
