Taylor Swift gave a sweet nod to Travis Kelce’s shining character in her wedding vows… including the sort of integrity he had all the way back in high school!
During the superstar couple’s Madison Square Garden wedding on Friday, the pair traded deeply emotional vows to one another. According to People, both Tay Tay and Trav spent around 20 minutes each reading the vows they personally wrote to one another, which we’ve heard left them — and the 1,000-person crowd — in a puddle of tears! But one thing that Taylor had to say was particularly moving for the NFL star!
On Sunday, an insider told People:
“Taylor talked about how Travis was the guy in high school who, even though he was the star athlete, would go sit with the less-popular kids who were being bullied at lunchtime.”
Awwwww! Travis totally does give that energy! The insider continued:
“And Taylor talked about how she wished she knew someone like that when she was in high school. It was so special.”

How sweet is that?! A second source added:
“Travis was very emotional during the vows.”
We can imagine why!
Over the weekend, individuals who apparently attended the wedding told NBC News Taylor even sung part of her vows:
“You would think the bride would be the one crying more, but it was actually Travis that was more emotional.”
But Travis wasn’t the only emotional one! According to an insider via the DailyMail.com, “Taylor looked tearful during a part in the vows where he promised to protect her forever.”
We bet it was SUCH a magical moment for the pair!
