Taylor Swift‘s friend has a big issue when it comes to her wedding! But is this a fair complaint?
A close source revealed to DailyMail.com that they think their invite to the pop star’s wedding to Travis Kelce was missing something — the option to bring a plus one! They said:
“My invite did not let me bring a plus one. I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward. I don’t think I am going to attend because I don’t want to go by myself and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”
Ouch!
Tough position. We mean, this is going to be one of the biggest events probably EVER. So it’s understandable why Tay wants to keep things on lock! But we also feel for this person — it can’t be easy being put in this position.
They continued, saying they believe the reason they’re not allowed to bring someone is because they’re “single”:
“I know Selena Gomez is bringing her husband Benny Blanco, so she has a plus one, but I am not allowed to have a plus one because I am a single woman. I get it, the venue can probably allow for only so many people, but it’s not the best feeling.”
In fact, this is upsetting this source so bad, they said they might not even go:
“It’s the wedding of the year, but I may sit this one out because I am shy.”
Girl, no!
We totally understand the nerves and being shy! But also, we doubt Tay or Trav would have the time to sit down and approve a bunch of plus ones — which is EXACTLY what they’d have to do! We mean, if you just let anyone in, there’s a risk they could film something, leak things to the public, etc. It’s a sticky situation, for sure.

But come on, it’s something to be expected with such a high-profile event. Have a little grace!
Another complaint the source had is that Tayvis aren’t revealing their wedding venue until the very last second:
“I get that too, she doesn’t want everyone knowing where she is getting married until the last minute for security reasons. Now it is one big guessing game, everyone is wondering where it will be. Probably a massive hotel like the Waldorf Astoria that has amazing security and access.”
The pal went on to say they really love Taylor, and they do understand her security and secretiveness, and they do wish Tayvis “the best”. They also said they didn’t want to sound like a “major complainer,” but…
