Prime Video has released the trailer for a new mystery thriller series titled The Better Sister, the cast of which is led by Jessica Biel and Elizabeth Banks, who find themselves caught up in a murder case.
The Better Sister is adapted from the novel written by bestselling author Alafair Burke, and it’s about the terrible things that drive sisters apart and ultimately bring them back together.
“Chloe (Biel), a high-profile media executive, lives a picturesque life with her handsome lawyer husband Adam (Corey Stoll) and teenage son Ethan (Maxwell Acee Donovan) by her side while her estranged sister Nicky (Banks) struggles to make ends meet and stay clean.
“When Adam is brutally murdered, the prime suspect sends shockwaves through the family, reuniting the two sisters, as they try to untangle a complicated family history in order to discover the truth behind his death.”
The 8-episode electric thriller limited series comes from Olivia Milch (Ocean’s 8) and Regina Corrado (Sons of Anarchy, The Strain, Russian Doll, Cabinet of Curiosities, Tulsa King).
The Better Sister will be released on Prime Video on May 29th, 2025.
