I’ve got a trailer here that you’ve got to watch today for an insane-looking Filipino action film titled Triggered. As you’ll see, this action movie is ultra-violent and there’s so much blood and gore. This movie definitely takes things to a brutal and hardcore level that action fans are going to enjoy. The trailer definitely doesn’t hold back!
In the film: “Discharged from the army due to post-traumatic stress disorder, Miguel gets embroiled in a different kind of war when a drug peddler seeks his protection against a vigilante death squad. All the while he must confront his own demons in order to earn his redemption. Arjo Atayde stars as an Ex-Special Forces security guard who attempts to save the life of a woman who is being hunted by a corrupt police death squad working for a drug cartel.”
The movie comes from director Richard Somes and it also stars Julia Montes, Kokoy De Santos, and Sid Lucero. The movie looks like a shit-ton of fun! They definitely don’t make action movies like this anymore!
The movie is set to premiere at the 2023 Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland this month.
