TIFF appears to be unstoppable…with the fest kicking off on a high note with Amazon MGM Studios hosting the Red Carpet World Premiere of Unstoppable starring Jennifer Lopez.
Toronto International Film Festival guests were treated to a Gala Presentation Screening of the film followed by an afterparty at the Epoch Bar and Kitchen terrace.
Attendees included Unstoppable Director William Goldenberg, stars Jharrel Jerome, Jennifer Lopez, Don Cheadle, Bobby Cannavale, and Producer/Stunt Double Anthony Robles, Writers Eric Champnella, Alex Harris, and John Hindman.
Also in attendance from the film were Producers Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas, Andrew Fraser, Gary Lewis, David Crockett, and Artist Equity Executive Producer Matt Damon. Special guests included Judy Robles.
Unstoppable is the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles (Jharrel Jerome) who was born with one leg but whose indomitable spirit and unbreakable resolve empowered him to defy the odds and pursue his dreams. With the unwavering love and support of his devoted mother Judy (Jennifer Lopez) and the encouragement of his coaches, Anthony fights through adversity to earn a spot on the Arizona State Wrestling team. But it will demand everything he has, physically and mentally, to achieve his ultimate quest to become an NCAA Champion.
