“Did we really need one of the most iconic directors to film a simple pour? Of course we did!” Enjoy this amusing new 30-second short film commercial created and directed by Guillermo del Toro. Almost every major director is getting into making commercials & ads for an extra boost in money and the latest to join the trend is Mexican master del Toro himself. The liquor brand Patrón Tequila has created this 30 second ad with Guillermo, not only directed by Guillermo, but also featuring him on screen setting up the shot. Yes it’s all to sell liquor but sure why not have a bit of fun with some ads. “At a time when cultural heritage feels especially meaningful to honor & protect, The Perfect Pour serves as a quiet reminder that the beauty in true craftsmanship comes from the people & process behind how things are made.” Just wish it was longer! Let these skeletons dance around and do more. Not enough time hanging out with them. All this work and all these people involved for only 30 seconds! Patron should let Guillermo make more of whatever he wants.
