Watch: Hand-Made Animated ‘Einvik’s Curse’ Music Video / Short Film

This is a must watch short film for animation geeks. After years of working on this project, the spectacular animated short film / music video called Einvik’s Curse has debuted online. This is an animation project by a creator named “Arkana” for a new graphic novel series set within the “world of Arkana.” “It took years to bring this 3-minute animation to life,” he says. It’s all hand-drawn, made in their own time, without an AI or any other tricks. “If this vision resonates with you, please consider supporting our pre-launch campaign.” Arkana creates music but has also discovered something else while working on it: “I wasn’t meant to just be a composer. I was meant to build an entire mythos.” He explains this fantasy world is split: two powers have risen – one seeking to restore order through absolute technological control & the other vowing to unleash primordial chaos in a cleansing fire. This music video is a first look at some of the characters, the vision, the vivid world and action and magic, and much more. It’s incredible. And I really hope he gets to make more – telling more of this story and more animated films within this world. The idea is by Samuel J. Finn, and the animation is by the superbly talented Anthony F.
