C’est la vie for Taylor in Paris.
Taylor Swift has touched down in the French capital to a spectacular welcome from her French fans.
In preparation for Swift’s four upcoming shows at Paris La Defense Arena this weekend, local French radio station Nouvelle Radio Jeune posted a clever, and mind-bending, welcome to the global pop star.

The radio station took to X, formerly Twitter, with a hyper-realistic video of oversized friendship bracelets falling to land on the Eiffel Tower.
The bracelets featured Taylor’s name as well as the abbreviated name of the radio station, NRJ, and at first glance could fool most viewers into believing it was a real-life stunt.
On closer inspection, it is evident that it is the work of a talented special effects video editor whom many fans in the comment section believed “deserves a raise”.

Posting the edited video to their 3.3 million followers, NRJ said: “Welcome to France Taylor Swift”.
The radio station also included a call to arms of Swift’s loyal supporters asking: “Are you… ready for it Swifties?”
It seems the radio station’s efforts paid off with the welcome video receiving over 750 thousand views on X and reaching Swift’s team.
The official Eras Tour twitter account reposted the viral video calling it “epic”.

Swift’s four shows in the City of Lights will kick off her European leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour which commenced in March 2023. As the star is set to perform 51 shows across 18 cities, Europe will be aglow with Taylor fever.
But it’s not just fans in Europe who will be watching with eager eyes as the singer returns to the stage on May 9 after being on break since March.
During her break, Swift broke records as she dropped her latest album The Tortured Poets Department and Swifties across the globe are eager to see how she will incorporate some of the 31 new songs into what is already a three and a half hour long show.
