No one does denim better than Dolly Parton.
The “Jolene” singer can often be found sporting a Canadian tuxedo of sorts, aka a denim-on-denim look, that harkens back to her Tennessee roots. Denim has been with Parton through all the seasons of her life. It has become a staple of her Western aesthetic, from bell-bottoms and bedazzled Western shirts to cowboy boots made from dark-wash denim from toe to heel. Her history with denim runs deep, so it made sense that she’d be partnering with Good American for a collaboration, a denim-centric brand co-owned by Khloe Kardashian. The collection is aptly titled Dolly’s Joleans, a play on one of her most iconic tracks from 1973.

This collection includes a slew of denim styles from cheeky shorts to extremely flared bell-bottoms and minidresses. You’ve also got Western-esque tops and tanks with a playful paisley-inspired print. The denim is dark wash, extremely flared — as the name suggests — and high-waisted. Like most bell-bottoms, this style is also form fitting, giving the wearer’s body shape and definition.
