The 61-year-old was involved in an incident early Friday morning in Madison, Wisconsin. He allegedly struck a street sign, damaged a fence, and ended up in a yard. According to the Madison Police Department, witnesses directed officers to Del Rio, who was walking away from the scene and showed signs of impairment. Del Rio admitted to driving the vehicle and was arrested. No injuries were reported.

Following the arrest, Del Rio expressed gratitude for his time with Wisconsin’s football program.
