Deadpool 3 has officially wrapped production! Hugh Jackman, who’s set to return as Wolverine in the film, recently took to social media to celebrate and reflect on the occasion.
After six long years away from the role, Hugh Jackman returned to pick up the mantle of Wolverine in Deadpool 3. After a long and rocky production delayed by the Hollywood strikes, the film has finally finished filming, with Jackman taking to social media to share a sweet message to the cast and crew.
“What a ride!” Jackman wrote on Instagram. “I’ve loved every minute of making this movie. Well … not the 4a training or the steamed fish and veg 4 x a day for 6 months but the other 93.2%. A collective thank you to the entire cast and crew. You are all aces!”
“If you’re reading this and think I mean you, I do. To two of my best mates @vancityreynolds and @slevydirect I literally couldn’t have done this without you. LITERALLY! July 26th can’t come soon enough. Time to shave.”
While his dietary restrictions certainly put a damper on his return, it’s good to see that Hugh Jackman is in high spirits about putting the claws back on one more time. Deadpool 3 may very well be the last time fans see him as Wolverine (well, if Secret Wars rumors aren’t to be believed), so let’s hope he goes out with the biggest bang possible!
