Yeah Yeah Yeahs have returned with their new live album, Hidden In Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall. It’s out today, with the deluxe and physical versions arriving Oct. 23 via Secretly Canadian.
The album was created out of a desire for the band to reconnect with their fans following the 2025 election. Recorded during their intimate European tour, their show at the Royal Albert Hall was the first time they performed at the historic venue — noting that they “felt the spirits of all legends past swirling around.”

“In the past, YYYs haven’t often chosen when to be back at it and out there — it often chooses us,” Karen O says. “We worked on these arrangements in February of ’25 at Sonic Ranch in an impossibly small window of time. Our string arranger Jherek Bischoff dove straight into the deep end with us as we arranged almost 24 songs for a quartet and acoustic instrumentation in less than a week.”
The album will also include a handful of tracks recorded at the Beacon Theatre, the Chicago Theatre, and more. Accompanying the LP is a short film, Hidden in Pieces, directed by Barnaby Clay, which was filmed at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles at the end of their 25th anniversary tour. The band give an ode to David Lynch, who passed away a month before they started the tour.
The film is set for a limited theatrical run, screening as a double feature in select cities across the U.K., U.S., Australia, and Japan, with some screenings paired with a movie handpicked by the band. Tickets go live on Thursday (Sept. 3) on the band’s website.
