On this episode of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, Bronwyn is frustrated with the way things went down at the last party. She is trying to understand Angie‘s pot-stirring and starts to wonder if all is good with Angie. Speaking of Angie, Mary is sick of her “hypocrisy and bullsh*t” and feels like she is losing her friend. Angie’s sharp tongue gets herself in a world of trouble and it may be hard to come back from it this time…
Lisa has been singing since she was a little girl and we, the viewers, have seen a lot of her performances. Lisa wants to be a recording artist and luckily her thyroid is getting better. Her ankles were beyond swollen and the issues strained her body so much that she could not even sing. It almost killed Lisa, but she has been able to get through the difficult time.
Her husband, John, comes by to amp up his “god”- he is, after all, very “happy to worship her.” Lisa talks to him about Quai’s reiki party (which Britani will not be invited to) to help clear the group energy. Good luck with that.
Heather rolls up to Kemosabe (a Kyle Richards fave). Bronwyn has put jeans on, which is a huge red flag. She is beyond annoyed after the party with Angie. Whitney was supposed to come join them, but she chooses to avoid the day. Heather was deliberately making a mess, according to Whitney, and she is beyond disappointed. She refuses to forgive right away and Bronwyn agrees with Whitney.
They head to the secret bar after purchasing a couple of friendship scarves. Heather realizes that she is on Whitney AND Bronwyn’s sh*t list. Bronwyn explains that she felt like Angie unloaded the gossip and Heather wanted to be messy. Bronwyn thinks that Angie and Heather like seeing that she is in a bad position with Lisa. Angie is all over the place this year with stirring the pot and Bronwyn is starting to realize that perhaps Angie has something going on in her home.
Bronwyn realizes that Shawn and Todd are friends, but she will not speak for Todd and say what they talk about. Heather opens the door for Angie to share her marriage issues with Shawn, but Angie does not take the bait. Bronwyn wonders if Angie is trying to be Lisa’s soldier. Lisa wanted what she said to get back to Bronwyn and she knew that Angie would do that job. Angie denies this and states that Bronwyn is a hard person to get along with.
Angie claims that Bronwyn thinks she is smarter than everyone else and explains that she was merely trying to be a good friend to her. Bronwyn (tries to) leave the bar as Angie calls her out for being impossible.
Mary visits with her cousin and she talks about trying to find her way after being in survival mode. She has not been able to get back to church yet, but she tries to remember that everything happens for a reason. Mary wanted to show her son, Robert Jr., the world and she reflects on the good days to help her get through the darkest days. She relies on her faith to guide her.
Mary explains that the girls have had her back throughout this, but states that Angie has changed-moving in a way that she has never seen Angie move. Whatever Angie is going through is clearly coming out in her behaviors within the group. Mary feels like Angie is only into Angie at this point.
Speaking of Angie, she shows off her new Porsche, the first car she bought with her own money. Angie is working up the courage to talk to her dad and brother about her marital struggles. She worries that her dad will not support her and she is scared that she will disappoint him. Angie opens up, explaining that she wakes up uneasy due to the distance with Shawn. Shawn has been in her family for 30 years, so the thought of splitting with him is difficult to explain. Her father reminds Angie that they will support her, no matter what she decides.
It’s the day of Quai’s reiki party and she is hopeful that all turmoil will be cleared out. On the way there, Bronwyn explains to Mary that she is getting frustrated with the group of ladies. She is disappointed with Angie and Mary shares that Angie is concerned with only Angie at this point. Mary goes on to say that she does not appreciate Angie doing a TikTok with Britani after the way she treated Mary.
Angie never followed up with Mary after she left alone and she wonders why Angie is being so messy. Again, Bronwyn is arriving in jeans-a tell-tale sign that she is tired of the BS. The tension is thick and the reiki master cannot arrive soon enough.
Angie pulls Mary aside and Mary lets her know that everything is not okay. Mary is confused why Angie never followed up after she left the party alone and tells Angie that she is “moving weird.” Mary wonders why Angie went as low as doing TikToks with Britani and she lets Angie know that she should not be putting any burden on her at all. Mary outright tells Angie that she is not being a good friend at all. She goes on to say that Angie has a “head of granite” and does not listen to anyone.
Angie feels like Bronwyn riled Mary up and she excuses herself so she can get it together. Mary wonders why Angie needs to run off and cry and in the meantime, Heather and Lisa arrive. Angie reminds the producers that she sits on the phone with Mary for 3 hours every night and cannot stand that Bronwyn is reveling in watching this fight between them unfold.
Angie comes out of the bathroom and explains that her feelings are hurt, too. Mary cannot deal and claims that Angie is so far up her own butt. Angie refers to Bronwyn as a snake and she loses it on her.
As if on cue, the reiki master arrives as Angie continues her tangent directed at Bronwyn, promising she will never have Bronwyn’s back ever again. Meredith finally makes it just as the reiki master begins the practice. The reiki master shares that Bronwyn is all over the place and carries a lot. Lisa and Mary opt out of the readings to protect their energies. Meredith has a busy mind, according to the reading, and Whitney’s light seems a little dim.
She tells Heather that she needs to find a man (LOL) and tells Angie that she needs to let go of anger and animosity. Angie’s throat chakra opens up a little too much and later she may regret what she says-oh the foreshadowing… Angie becomes overwhelmed with emotion and she can’t take much more.
Afterwards, the ladies sit down for some food and drink. Quai asks that they all communicate kindly to figure things out. Whitney begins and shares that she is upset with Heather and her ever-changing energies. Whitney clarifies that Heather is not two-faced, but feels overwhelmed and hurt. Lisa does not like the way Whitney addresses her and is sick of Whitney acting like the victim in every situation.
Whitney thanks Lisa for making the effort and Bronwyn jumps in as Angie begins to have her moment. Bronwyn did not want to hear what Angie had to say about her boyfriend, yet Angie told her anyway. Angie calls Bronwyn a deflector and a slithering snake who is manipulating the situation. Angie warns Bronwyn to shut her “f*cking big f*cking mouth” and Quai acts as mediator with her mini fog horn.
Angie heard from a trusted source that Bronwyn was playing nice with Todd until she got her $85,00 lump-sum payout. This argument goes back and forth and Bronwyn threatens that she may out the things Shawn tells Todd.
Mary thinks that Angie is in the wrong and she feels like Angie does not have manners or rules. Angie reminds Mary that she is a big deal. Mary wonders when Angie became so self-centered and questions what happened to her husband and child. An angered Angie claps back to Mary asking, “What happened to your husband? What happened to your child? What are you talking about?”
Oh that is a new low. Mary tells Angie to sit down and shut up. Mary refers to the angered Angie as Jen Shah and it is clear that Angie has broken. It was only a matter of time before Angie spiraled like this. She seems to be missing the point that this is not about self-care and facials.
Angie can’t seem to stop running her mouth and she has gone way too far this time. Even Lisa is trying to keep this train from running off the rails. Mary leaves as Angie tries to make amends, but Mary claims she never wants to look at Angie ever again. As she comes to, Angie realizes that she did not mean what she said, but it may be too late for apologies…
