Dynamite Entertainment has launched a Kickstarter for a special set of Transformers trading cards to celebrate the franchise’s 40th anniversary. This collection offers fans a chance to add unique cards to their collection, including exclusive chase cards. The Kickstarter, now live, provides multiple options for fans of all ages to participate and obtain these collector items!

The trading cards featured in this set and campaign collect a wide range of visions of everyone’s favorite characters. The Hasbro vaults have been opened, with the set’s designers and curators pulling classic artwork and representing an international crop of top artists. The focus of this set is on the original, iconic “Generation 1” era and continuity of the franchise. This includes the biggest beloved characters across both Autobots and Decepticons, such as Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Megatron, Starscream, Ironhide, Soundwave, and other classics.
The traditional series offers packs with 10 cards each, featuring a mix of 110 base cards, 110 holofoil parallel cards, and special chase subsets. These subsets include cards signed by Bob Budiansky and Simon Furman, along with hundreds of individually drawn sketch cards!
The Deluxe Ultra-Premium series packs contain 7 cards each, packaged in exclusive mini-boxes. Each pack is guaranteed to include two base cards, two sketch cards, one line art card, one signed creator card, and one connecting card, offering rare collectible options for fans!
