Militarie Gun have released the deluxe edition of God Save The Gun.
The LP includes “World’s Always Burning” featuring Mannequin Pussy, “I’ve Said Too Much” featuring Dazy, “3 AM,” and Anthony Green‘s cover of their song “Thought You Were Waving.” Green said covering the track was a privilege and that he is “an enormous fan of the band.”

“Anthony doing a version of ‘Thought You Were Waving’ is one of the most surreal things,” vocalist Ian Shelton says. “When we decided to do the song together, it was because he had previously sent me a video of him doing it. So I thought, why don’t we make a real version of this? To me, it proves that a song can just be the first draft of an idea. I think that Anthony improved the song and made it better, and his version now gets stuck in my head instead of my own.”
Militarie Gun just began their 20 Songs for 20 Dollars headline tour with $20 tickets for each show, with support from Softcult, Shady Nasty, and Dazy on select dates before performing at this year’s CBGB Festival and supporting the Sex Pistols next month.
