Inside Lainey Wilson’s unique cave wedding to husband Duck — including her gorgeous dress, massive ring, and cowboy hat

Country music star Lainey Wilson is officially married!

The singer, 33, tied the knot with fiancé (now husband) Devlin “Duck” Hodges, 30, over the weekend on May 10 at Ruskin Cave in Dickson, Tennessee.

The couple spoke with Vogue about the nuptials, for which Lainey wore a spectacular white Oscar de la Renta custom gown, with Japanese cherry blossoms adorning the neckline.

The gorgeous dress featured a sweeping train, a veil that flowed behind her with more floral appliqués, light glam, and her large diamond engagement ring with floral pattern serving as the centerpiece.

“The cherry blossom represents living in the moment, and that’s exactly what we did,” the singer told Vogue. Duck, for his part, wore a bespoke D. Lacquaniti suit with custom cufflinks and a bolo tie created to match the look. The pair then wore cowboy hats to coordinate with their outfits for their first dance and the after party.

The wedding venue in itself was a natural beauty, with the ceremony performed on a cobblestone ledge overlooking a waterfall. Photos from the nuptials show arched windows created to frame the couple as they said their “I Do’s,” with floral arrangements surrounding them to emphasize the untouched venue.

“Duck and I were driving backroads in Tennessee and saw a billboard for The Ruskin Cave,” the “Heart Like a Truck” singer explained. When Duck asked her: “You wanna get married there?” she quickly went: “Done deal!” She added: “We dropped by, saw the venue, and fell in love with the natural beauty of the cave and the simplicity of the property.”

The pair first met on a blind date back in 2021, where sparks flew instantly. In February 2025, at George Jones’ estate in Tennessee, the former NFL quarterback proposed to Lainey, just over a year before they tied the knot.

Speaking of organizing the wedding itself, Lainey said: “We wanted it to be special and beautiful, but really welcoming and comfortable for our guests,” emphasizing that they wanted it to be more casual and homegrown.

“We tried not to take ourselves too seriously. Being from Louisiana, I wanted to bring in a little bit of Cajun flair, so naturally we hired a 12-piece jazz band called Rebirth and had a Cajun meal from the chefs at my bar, Bell Bottoms Up,” Lainey said, later gushing: “It was so lovely to have that touch of my home in Louisiana up here in Tennessee.”

The actual ceremony sounds like something right out of a fairytale. “You could hear the water trickling down and birds singing, and we had a nice spring breeze. I arrived in a white horse-drawn carriage and walked down the aisle with my Deddy to join Duck at the altar.” After the ceremony concluded, the newlyweds walked down the aisle to Raye’s hit “Where is My Husband!”

As for the reception: “My mama led the dinner prayer for all of our guests, and we settled in for a night of good food, good company, and good music,” Lainey explained.

“Our family and friends know how to have a good time, and the dance floor was packed all night. To close out a perfect evening, Duck and I followed the band through a send-off line of sparklers and cheering loved ones, climbed into an old white Ford truck, and drove off!”
