Kelly Slater and his long-time girlfriend Kalani Miller are going to be parents!
The professional surfer announced on Instagram he will soon be a dad again at 52 in a heartfelt short video.
While this is Slater’s second child, this will be his first with his girlfriend of nearly two decades, who he has been dating since 2006.

In the heartwarming video posted to both their Instagram accounts, the soon-to-be parents showed off Miller’s noticeable baby bump while at the beach.
In the video, the couple held hands and hugged on the sand, with one slow motion close up shot then focused on Miller’s bump which Slater placed his hands on from behind.
The black and white clip used the song The Three Of Us by Ben Harper to celebrate the family’s special news that they will be growing by one after many years together.
The pair captioned the adorable announcement post with a single white heart emoji.

The post was quickly inundated with messages of congratulations from the expecting parents’ friends and family – as well as some famous names.
“Aww so exciting!! Congratulations ❤” US surfer Alana Blanchard wrote.
“Gonna be one beautiful kid. Congratulations you guys,” actor and surfer Kala Alexander said in the comments section.
“Congrats my man. I was wondering why you gave me that look when I saw you in Hawaii,” TV personality Brody Jenner joked.

Aussie surfer Stephanie Gilmore also commented a couple of sweet heart face emojis to celebrate the exciting baby news.
Slater is already a father to Taylor Slater-Kelleher, who he reportedly welcomed with former partner Tamara Mitchell in 1996.
The surfing legend reportedly first met his current girlfriend back in 2006 at a trade show in San Diego where they hit it off and shortly started dating.

Over the years, the couple have shared glimpses of their romance to social media, with Miller just last month celebrating her partner’s birthday with a heartfelt post.
“Happy birthday to my favorite person in the world! Thank you for letting me and those close to you bathe in your light and thank for giving me the world and beyond,” she said.
For Valentine’s Day, Miller shared another adorable snap of the pair on holiday with the caption “Happy I LOVE you everyday ?.”
