A daring look, for sure, but very on brand! It’s giving Jessica Rabbit! It’s giving modern Marilyn Monroe!

Timothée is nominated for Best Actor for his performance in Marty Supreme, but his recent comment controversy might be overshadowing things a bit. Host Conan O’Brien already made a joke about it! During the opening monologue, he quipped:
“Security is extremely tight tonight. I’m told there’s concerns of attacks from both the opera and ballet communities.”
Obviously the camera immediately panned to Timmy and Kylie, who both put on the biggest laughs to convey good sportsmanship amid all the chatter.

As you know, the 30-year-old movie star is under fire for saying “no one cares” about opera or ballet anymore, igniting a firestorm of backlash from artists across both communities and more. Big names like Whoopi Goldberg, Nathan Lane, Misty Copeland, and even Steven Spielberg have thrown shade over it. It’s all anyone’s been talking about, entertainment-wise!
Guess we’ll find out soon enough who the Oscar goes to. Bets are on either Timmy Tim or Michael B. Jordan for Sinners.
