Shannon Beador Claps Back at RHOC Producer Who Labeled Her “Miserable”

Shannon Beador is clapping back at a Real Housewives producer who recently called her out for mistreating the crew and labeled her “one of the most miserable [and] narcissistic housewives across the entire brand.”

After Patrick McDonald accused Shannon, 62, of “losing her sh*t, yelling, screaming, [and] cussing” at the Real Housewives of Orange County producers and Southern Charm‘s Rodrigo Reyes doubled down on calling her “rude” on a past episode of Watch What Happens Live, Shannon appeared on Jamie Kennedy‘s podcast to address the claims. 

“There’s a producer who worked one season on our show, and it was season 18, which is when I had to film with Alexis Bellino,” Shannon explained on the July 23 episode of Hate to Break It to Ya, via Housewives From a Housewife on Instagram, giving a nod to her former co-star, who is now married to her ex-boyfriend, John Janssen, 63. “I was very withdrawn then. It was a very difficult season for me.”

That said, Shannon insisted she was kind to Patrick.

“This producer came out this week saying, ‘She would cuss at the crew.’ No, mister, I cooked you dinner and sent you home with a to-go pack, but he’s saying that I was horrible, that I’m miserable, I’m the most narcissistic person in the entire Bravo franchise,” she shared.

As for Rodrigo, who said she was “rude” to him at Bravo during a past episode of WWHL, Shannon refuted the claim.

“My daughter [Sophie Beador] was with me the whole time. I don’t even know who this kid is. He goes, ‘Shannon Beador.’ I’m like, ‘Sophie, who is this guy?’ She’s like, ‘Mom, we never saw him the whole time.’ Like, I can’t win,” Shannon complained.

Shannon also appeared on her own episode of WWHL, where she denied knowing Rodrigo, who responded by doubling down.

“Can I say, I apologize, Rodrigo. I don’t know who he is, and Sophie was with me at all times at BravoCon. And I go, ‘Sweetie, who is this?’ She said, ‘Mom, we never saw him,’” Shannon recalled. “But I’m sorry, Rodrigo. We’re doing fan fest together. Let’s make up … I don’t think that I saw him, but I will take accountability.”

After the quotes were shared by Queens of Bravo Plus on Instagram, however, Rodrigo stood his ground.

“Can’t expect people to remember every nobody they make rude comments towards,” he wrote.

In addition to Patrick and Rodrigo accusing Shannon of misbehaving, Love Hotel host Joel Kim Booster, 38, claimed she treated his fellow staffers in a “subhuman” manner in 2024.

“Just because you’re a pathetic drunk on a reality television show best known for a string of failed relationships and a DUI does not give you license to treat the people you work with like they are subhuman. Period. They will make me delete this, but DM me if you’d like to see some videos. Besos!” he wrote before later apologizing.

The following year, an insider told The U.S. Sun that Shannon “had to be told to cool it more than once” amid production on RHOC.

“Production had to step in and have a word with Shannon about the way she can speak to the filming crew sometimes,” the source stated.
