Konami’s Castlevania series returns next week, and the first critic review for Castlevania: Belmont’s Curse has now gone live.
It comes from the famous Japanese publication Famitsu, so what did this outlet think of this new experience developed by Evil Empire and Motion Twin?
If you’re not familiar with Famitsu, four critics rate the game out of ten, and then the total score is added up. So, this new entry, starring the new protagonist Rose Belmont, has received 8/8/8/8 from the four critics (via Genki_JPN). This gives the new game a total score of 32/40. So, it’s off to a respectable start.
Other reviews are on the way, so be on the lookout for a round up, and our own review here on Nintendo Life. And if you haven’t already tried it, there’s a demo of Belmont’s Curse you can download from the Switch eShop right now.
