The 39-year-old Sinners actor just won his first Oscar for Best Actor!!

Timothée Chalamet started off awards season strong, winning a Golden Globe and the Critics Choice Award for Best Actor. But then Michael B. Jordan took home the Actor Award (formerly known as the SAG Award), and it started looking like a tighter race than initially expected.

Michael was stunned! What an honor! One we’re sure many fans will agree is well deserved.
Timmy was gracious, of course. Smiling and clapping for his fellow nominee. But still, we know it had to sting a little since he’s been so vocal about his desire for greatness. But, hey, he’s got a long career ahead of him. We’re sure he’ll earn his little gold man one day!

It’s kind of a shame we won’t get to see Timothée’s speech. We’ll always be left wondering if he had anything to say to the opera and ballet communities… LOLz!
